It appears the Dallas Mavericks have another frontcourt injury to monitor.

Center Daniel Gafford exited Friday’s meeting with the Memphis Grizzlies with right ankle soreness. The Mavericks ruled Gafford out of the game in the fourth quarter.

Gafford was on the court for 12:23, going 0-for-1 from the field with one rebound and two personal fouls. The Mavericks were already playing without key frontcourt players in Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively II on Friday.

Before the game tipped off, Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd said he didn’t know if Davis would play Saturday against the Washington Wizards. Kidd added that Davis has looked good in workouts and is in good spirits.
