Devin Booker on being surrounded by young players on Suns

Devin Booker, once a young phenom, is now a veteran surrounded by young players: “It’s a lot of jokes.”

LOS ANGELES – Dillon Brooks is listed as questionable with a core muscle strain going into the Saturday, Nov. 8 game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome.

Brooks has missed Phoenix’s last six games with the injury suffered last month against the Denver Nuggets that was initially diagnosed with right groin soreness.

Suns coach Jordan Ott has said it’s more about pain tolerance when it comes to Brooks returning. He’s averaging a career-high 19.3 points in his first three games with the Suns.

Phoenix (4-5) has already played the Clippers (3-5) twice this season.

Los Angeles won the first matchup, 129-102, last month and home, but lost the rematch Nov. 6 in Phoenix, 115-102, in Jalen Green’s debut with the Suns.

Green missed the entire preseason schedule and the first eight games of the regular season with a right hamstring strain. He scored 29 points in his debut, hitting 6-of-13 from 3 to lead the Suns to victory.

Green isn’t on the latest injury report.

James Harden is back for the Clippers after missing Thursday’s game for personal reasons. Kawhi Leonard remains out with a right ankle sprain.
