Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown said following the team’s 123-110 loss against the Orlando Magic on Friday night that he’s begrudgingly putting his ongoing spat with NBA officials to rest.

The situation stems from Brown’s postgame comments after the Celtics’ 105-103 loss vs. the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

With Boston ahead by one late in the fourth quarter, the former NBA Finals MVP drove to the basket and was seemingly tripped, though no foul was called.

“Y’all going to get me fined. You can’t have a mistake like that as an official at that point in the game, 4th quarter, minute left in the game or less, and you completely, the whole staff blows the (expletive) call. Costs us a game. Unacceptable… That’s some (expletive),” Brown said at the time.

Brown, who finished the loss vs. Orlando with 32 points, went just 1-for-5 from the field with two points in the fourth quarter.

“I think in the fourth quarter, I think the officials made their point,” Brown said, according to a report by MassLive’s Brian Robb. “I get it. I’ll keep my mouth closed.”

Per Robb’s report, Brown was asked to clarify his comments.

“I get it,” Brown repeated. “I’ll keep my mouth closed.”
