Chicago was routed 126-110 by the Milwaukee Bucks Friday while failing to cover as a 4.5-point underdog as the Under (240) hit. The Bulls trailed just 85-80 after 3 quarters vs. Milwaukee, but F Giannis Antetokounmpo took over in the fourth as he put up 19 points. F Matas Buzelis was the only Bull that finished with 20 points while 3 Bucks hit the 20-point mark.

Cleveland destroyed the Washington Wizards 148-114 Friday while covering as a 13.5-point favorite with the Over (240.5) cashing. The backcourt duo of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland combined for 43 points while 5 other Cavs finished in double figures in the win. Bulls at Cavaliers picks and predictionsPrediction

PASS.

Cleveland is the better team and will cover here as a -375 favorite, but the Cavs are not worth the risk of betting on as such heavy favorites here. Pass and bet on the spread and/or total instead.

LEAN BULLS +8.5 (-110).

Chicago’s offense has been very good to start the season as the Bulls have the fifth-best shooting percentage from deep per game (39.1%) while also being second in assists per game (30.1). On the other side, Cleveland’s offense has been solid, but there are times where the offense goes stagnant when anyone other than Cleveland’s main two guards is dribbling.

This is a lean because Cleveland is the more talented team in this matchup and because this Cleveland offense will likely get even better as Garland re-acclimates himself to playing.

BET OVER 240.5 (-105).

Both teams score a lot of their points in transition and off of great ball-movement, making it hard to guard either of these offenses. Chicago has the 18th-ranked scoring defense, but a lot of that is because its opponents are simply missing open shots that they normally make, but I don’t see that happening against this Cleveland team with scorers littered throughout.

The Over is 2-0 in Cleveland’s last 2 games and is 4-2 in Chicago’s last 6. The Over has also hit in all of the last 3 matchups between these teams.
