The Phoenix Suns (4-5) visit the LA Clippers (3-5) tonight at Intuit Dome in Inglewood for a rematch of their Thursday bout in Phoenix.
The Suns took the first game of this back-to-back, with Jalen Green leading the way in his Phoenix debut with 29 points on 50% shooting from the field. Green, acquired from the Houston Rockets in the Kevin Durant trade, brings needed athletic scoring punch next to Devin Booker and fits cleanly as a secondary creator in the backcourt.
The Clippers were without both Kawhi Leonard and James Harden in that loss. Harden is expected to return tonight, while Leonard remains out.
LA enters on a three-game slide and continues to struggle offensively, ranking near the bottom of the league at 110.5 points per game. Turnovers have compounded the issue — the Clippers are averaging 17.6 per game, second most in the league, an area that has repeatedly broken possessions and halted momentum.
They’ll need sharper execution to keep pace, particularly against a Suns team capable of sustained perimeter scoring runs.
Prediction
Phoenix’s perimeter creation and depth continue to travel well, and if Harden’s rhythm is still ramping, LA’s half-court offense may lag. Still, expect another close one.
Prediction: Suns 112, Clippers 108
