Pistons at 76ers picks and predictionsPrediction

PASS.
The Pistons will confidently be able to pick up the win and cover here as -175 favorites, especially with Embiid out for the second night of a back-to-back. However, Detroit is favored just slightly too heavily to risk betting on here, so pass and stick to the safer spread and/or total plays instead.
BET PISTONS -4.5 (-105).
A majority of Philadelphia’s scoring comes from its guards, especially in games where Embiid is out, but this Detroit team has an array of lengthy wing defenders that it can throw at those 76ers guards to slow them down. Still look for Maxey to have some success as he is proving to be a premier scorer in this league, but with no answer defensively for either Cade or Duren and no Embiid to diversify the offense, the Sixers don’t stand a chance at covering here.
OVER 232.5 (-105).
Philadelphia has the best offensive rating (121.3) in the NBA while also putting up 124 points per game. On the other side, the Pistons have a premier scorer in Cunningham and possess a defense that leads to fast-break points on the other end. While Detroit is a defensive team, look for these high-powered offenses to steal the show for a majority of the night here.
The Over has also hit in back-to-back games for the Sixers and is 3-2 in Detroit’s last 5 outings.
