SPOKANE, Wash – After a big win over Oklahoma Saturday night in the Spokane Arena, the Gonzaga men’s basketball team moved up to 19th in the AP Top 25.

That’s up two spots from 21 last week.

Houston switched places with Purdue to become the top-ranked team in the poll.

Gonzaga is 2-0 on the season and faces its biggest test of the season Tuesday night.

#23 Creighton comes to town to face Gonzaga at the Kennel.

Creighton has played just one game this year, notching a 92-76 win over South Dakota.

The Zags and the Blue Jays have played 11 times, with Creighton holding a 6-5 edge.

The last time the teams met was in the 2021 NCAA tournament. 

Gonzaga beat Creighton in the Sweet 16.

The Zags were undefeated at the time and went on to lose to Baylor in the national championship game.
