ALL RIGHT RANDY THANK YOU. THE ONE THING WE DO NEED FOR THE PARADE, WE NEED SOME REALLY NICE WEATHER. HOPEFULLY SCOTT CAN DELIVER THAT BECAUSE LAST YEAR IT WAS LIKE TODAY YOU NEED THE JACKET. BUT IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE CROWDS WERE MASSIVE. THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT THAT IS REALLY BROUGHT OUT WHEN IT’S KIND OF CHILLY. THE FIREPLACE IS LIT. LAST YEAR I HAD MY OWN LITTLE EARMUFFS WITH REINDEER ANTLERS. IT WAS PERFECT. PERFECT. AND LOOK, THE CROWDS ARE BIG. I DON’T THINK ANYBODY MINDS A LITTLE BIT OF COLD. THROW THE JACKET ON. COME AND ENJOY. YEAH, WE’VE KIND OF GOT THE TALE OF TWO SEASONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW. WE’RE CURRENTLY FEELING LIKE WINTER, BUT NOT FOR LONG. THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE JET STREAM. BIG TROUGH IN THE EAST, BIG RIDGE IN THE WEST. AND BASICALLY WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT IT FEELS LIKE WINTER PRESENTLY, BUT WE’LL KIND OF GET A TASTE OF LATE SUMMER BY THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND. LET ME SHOW YOU THE SETUP AND GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHY THINGS ARE GOING TO BE CHANGING, BY THE WAY. MIAMI ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE LOW 40S THIS MORNING, THANKS TO THAT ARCTIC FRONT THAT WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN INTO THE SOUTHERN GULF. SO A VERY RECORD BREAKING ARCTIC PLUNGE THAT WE JUST EXPERIENCED, BUT A RELATIVELY SHORT LIVED COLD AIR SNAP. THIS IS OUR PATTERN TO THE WEST. YOU’RE LIKE, SCOTT, WHY AM I LOOKING AT THE PACIFIC OCEAN? WE’VE GOT A LOT OF STORM SYSTEMS OUT OVER THE PACIFIC THAT ARE GOING TO BE CHANGING THE JET STREAM AND ALLOWING THE JET STREAM TO GO ALL THE WAY NORTH NEAR THE US AND CANADA BORDER, MEANING THAT TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE ON A BIG WARM UP. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE TEMPERATURE DEPARTURE TODAY. NOTICE THAT WE’RE STILL IN THE BLUE AND THE PURPLE TEMPS 10 TO 15 PLUS BELOW AVERAGE. BUT WATCH AS WE GO INTO WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE REDS, EVEN SOME PINK SHOWING UP ON THE BOARD. THAT’S TEMPERATURES FIVE, TEN, 15 PLUS DEGREES WARMER THAN AVERAGE INTO LATE WEEK AND THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND. SO IF YOU’RE A COLD WEATHER FAN, LIGHT THE FIREPLACE, MAKE THE SOUPS AND STEWS TONIGHT BECAUSE WE WON’T BE SEEING THIS KIND OF COLD WEATHER FOR MUCH LONGER TEMPS RIGHT NOW. LOW TO MID 50S. HIGHS TODAY ONLY IN THE LOW 60S FOR MANY SPOTS. ONE MORE CHILLY START TOMORROW IN THE 30S. NORTH OF THE LAKE. LOW TO MID 40S ON THE SOUTH SHORE IN THE METRO. LOW 50S. LOOK AT THIS WARM UP ON THE WAY. FRIDAY. WE’RE AT 80. WE COULD PUSH LOW TO MID 80S IN SOME SPOTS BY LATE WEEKEND EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE ONE THING I WILL SAY THOUGH, IT’S GOING TO FEEL VERY PLEASANT. LOW HUMIDITY, VERY DRY CONDITIONS AND NO RAIN CHANCES. RAIN CHANCES STAYING AT NEAR 0% THE NEXT FIVE DAYS. AND IF YOU’RE ASKING ME, SCOTT, WHEN IS OUR NEXT BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN? THE MODELS HAVE PUSHED BACK IN TIME. THIS IS NEXT TUESDAY, 1118 GFS SAYS NOT MUCH RAIN. EUROPEAN MODEL SAYS WE SEE ANOTHER FRONT POTENTIAL WITH SOME HIGHER RAIN CHANCES. SO RAIN COVERAGE IS GOING TO BE HARD TO COME BY THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. IF YOU LIKE THE COOL WEATHER, TEMPS VERY CHILLY AGAIN OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, EARLY TOMORROW MORNING, BUT THIS IS MY KIND OF SEVEN-DAY FORECAST. HIGHS UPPER 70S. LOW 80S. RAIN CHANCES STAYING LOW ALL THE WAY INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

The New Orleans Pelicans are bringing back one of their most celebrated uniform designs as part of the NBA and Nike’s 2025–26 City Edition program. Originally introduced during the 2023–24 season, the Pelicans’ City Edition uniform returns – by popular demand – as a visual tribute to the city’s spirit, individuality, and vibrant nightlife. The decision to revisit this design aligns with the league-wide initiative encouraging teams to revive standout City Edition uniforms from previous seasons. The Pelicans’ selection was clear: a design too good for just one season. The uniform’s signature elements remain intact, including the striking neon-on-black colorway and the distinctive Skelican logo, which together evoke the energy and mystique of New Orleans after dark. This fan-favorite look will once again be paired with a themed alternate court, both of which will debut during Skelican Night on November 16, when the Pelicans host the Golden State Warriors. The City Edition uniform and court will be featured at select games throughout the season.
