CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cleveland Cavaliers unveiled their new City Edition uniform inspired by the Cleveland Metroparks, featuring colors that reflect the oranges and yellows of fall foliage that fill the park trails each season.
The team partnered with Cleveland Metroparks for the 2025-2026 City Edition uniform design, which tells the story of one of Cleveland’s most prominent features.
“What else plays such a big part in Clevelanders’ lives than the Metroparks, one of the best park systems in the country, so we’re excited to tell that story through the uniform,” said Cavs Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Kaiser.
Kaiser said the uniform incorporates the different shades of orange and yellow that represent the natural beauty found throughout the Metroparks system.
“There’s some magnificent sunrises and sunsets that you see specifically in the Metroparks, or even right behind us, and then also fall foliage was something we tried to work in there, so there’s four different colors that we tried to work in there that play a huge role in our lives,” Kaiser said.
The Cavaliers and their partner Cleveland Cliffs are making a $10,000 donation to the Metroparks Trails Fund.
The money will help maintain the trails throughout the park system.
“The upkeep, the preservation of these amazing trails that people like myself, and my family uses on a daily basis, so anything we can do to preserve those for the next generation is something we want to be a part of,” Kaiser said.
The Cavaliers will wear the new jerseys for six games this season, debuting at the November 17 home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The team will also feature a special City Edition court that incorporates the uniform colors and the Cleveland Metroparks logo.
