Dallas Mavericks part ways with general manager Nico Harrison

The Mavericks have fired GM Nico Harrison less than a year after trading Luka — Lorenzo Reyes breaks down where Dallas turns next in its rebuild.

Forward Anthony Davis will not play in the Dallas Mavericks‘ home game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Davis has been ruled out with a left calf injury.

Mavericks governor Patrick Dumont has requested medical data regarding Davis’ injury, according to ESPN‘s Tim MacMahon. Dumont is not expected to let Davis play unless the data suggests Davis is not at risk of aggravating the strain.

This will be Davis’ seventh consecutive game missed.

He’s averaged 20.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in five games played this season. The Mavericks are 3-8.
