Giannis Antetokounmpo speaks on ‘must win’ heading to game in Dallas

Giannis Antetokounmpo speaks on ‘must win’ upcoming game in Dallas and Rivers, Kuzma react to the Bucks’ loss to Rockets on Nov. 9, 2025.

CHARLOTTE – Milwaukee Bucks guard AJ Green did not finish the game against the Charlotte Hornets on Nov. 12 at the Spectrum Center with an apparent injury to his right (shooting) arm.

Green took several hard shots playing defense throughout the game, and as the first half ended he walked off the court grabbing his right forearm and flexing his hand.

He started the second half, but after he checked out with 3 minutes, 13 seconds left in the third quarter, he sought some treatment on his right arm. The Bucks training staff wrapped his forearm just under his right elbow, and Green pantomimed shooting in the tunnel leading to the Bucks locker room, and also did some hard dribbles but indicated he felt discomfort running up his arm.

With just under eight minutes left in the game, Green left the Bucks bench again to keep trying to pantomime shooting under the watch of a trainer, and eventually took the wrap off his arm. Late in the game the Bucks said Green was “still available,” but he never re-entered the game.

Green was just 1 of 4 shooting for three points in 27 minutes.
