Gov. Katie Hobbs has declared a State of Emergency to fight the Greer Fire, which has burned 18,617 acres in eastern Arizona. She has directed $200,000 from the Governor’s Emergency Fund to be available to the Arizona Division of Emergency Management Director to help with the state‘s response to the fire. In addition, the state has secured a fire management assistance grant funding from FEMA to support first responders.
