The Philadelphia 76ers will look to keep things moving in the right direction on Friday when they take on the Detroit Pistons on the road in NBA Cup action. The Sixers are sitting at 7-4 and are looking to keep things going as the season continues on.
As far as the injury report against the Pistons is concerned, the Sixers will continue to be a bit short-handed as Paul George (left knee surgery recovery) remains out. The Sixers say he is in the final stages of his recovery plan and should return soon. He has yet to play in any of Philadelphia’s 12 games.
Joel Embiid (right knee soreness) is listed as our. He missed Tuesday’s win over the Boston Celtics with the injury and is looking to work his way back toward recovery.
VJ Edgecombe (back spasms) is listed as questionable for the contest.
Dominick Barlow, who has missed the previous nine games due to a right elbow laceration is set to return against the Pistons.
Tip off from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit is set for 7:30 p.m. EST on Friday.
