Guard

Stud

Ryan Rollins, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets ($6,700)

Usually when Luka Doncic is on the slate, it’s almost an auto-click, but I think I want to pay up for Giannis Antetokounmpo, especially with Ryan Kalkbrenner out. So, I’ll pay down a bit and go with Rollins at guard, who has 40 FPTS upside, something he’s done four times this season. Rollins is only garnering a usage rate of 21.8%, but he’s shooting 52% from the field while contributing in every category sans blocks. Charlotte is 14th in pace and 22nd in defensive rating, but the Hornets’ main rim protector Ryan Kalkbrenner is out.

Other Options: Luka Doncic ($12,000), Tyrese Maxey ($10,500), Anthony Edwards ($8,900), Austin Reaves ($8,000), Trey Murphy III ($7,700), Jrue Holiday ($7,500), Cooper Flagg ($7,500), Jaime Jaquez Jr. ($7,400), Norman Powell ($7,100), Desmond Bane ($7,000), Kon Knueppel ($6,900), Collin Sexton ($6,100), Daniss Jenkins ($6,100) if he starts

Value

Miles McBride, New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat ($4,800)

Jalen Brunson has not missed a game this season, so we have no idea how Mike Brown will configure his rotations with Brunson being ruled out. I’m assuming that McBride will start and soak up most of the point guard minutes. If so, he would have a good chance of exceeding salary expectations, especially since Miami is playing at the fastest pace in the league.

Other Options: Brandon Williams ($5,400), Davion Mitchell ($5,300), Duncan Robinson ($5,100), Jalen Suggs ($5,100), Max Christie ($4,900), Jeremiah Fears ($4,800), Anthony Black ($4,700), Reed Sheppard ($4,200)

Forward

Stud

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets ($11,700)

Antetokounmpo has a big red Q next to his name as he’s been dealing with a knee issue and missed two of the last three games, including Wednesday’s matchup against the Hornets. He’s listed as probable for this one, though, and should feast with Kalkbrenner out. Giannis has put up at least 52 FPTS in every contest with six games over 60 and two over 80 FPTS. He’s the one I’m paying up for on this slate.

Other Options: Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,400), Franz Wagner ($8,500), Julius Randle ($8,300), Michael Porter Jr. ($7,800), Jaime Jaquez Jr. ($7,400), Kon Knueppel ($6,900), Andrew Wiggins ($6,700)

Value

Tristan da Silva, Orlando Magic vs. Brooklyn Nets ($4,500)

With Paolo Banchero ruled out due to injury, I’m assuming that da Silva will enter the starting lineup. As a rookie last season, da Silva put up over 30 FPTS six times with a high of 42 FPTS. He’s gone for at least 30 FPTS twice this season in a reserve role. The matchup is a good one as the Nets are dead-last in defensive rating.

Other Options: Jaden McDaniels ($5,900), Rui Hachimura ($5,400), Naji Marshall ($5,200), Marcus Smart ($5,000), Derik Queen ($4,900), Max Christie ($4,900), Noah Clowney ($4,800), Dominick Barlow ($4,300)

Center

Stud

Alperen Sengun, Houston Rockets vs. Potland Trail Blazers ($9,500)

The floor is high with Sengun because he stuffs the stat sheet. Through 10 games, Sengun is averaging 21.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.7 blocks. He’s put up at least 40 FPTS in all but one contest with a high of 71.2 FPTS. In the one game he failed to hit 40 FPTS, Sengun had 39 FPTS.

Other Options: Ivica Zubac ($7,100), Nic Claxton ($6,800), Kel’el Ware ($6,300), Myles Turner ($6,200)

Value

Andre Drummond, Philadelphia 76ers at Detroit Pistons ($5,700)

Joel Embiid has been ruled out, so Drummond should get the start. In three of the last four games, Drummond has played 33, 35 and 28 minutes in lieu of Embiid. In those contests, Drummond has contributed 33.8, 41.5 and 38.2 FPTS.

Other Options: Rudy Gobert ($6,000), Paul Reed ($5,800) if Jalen Duren is out, Daniel Gafford ($5,100), Derik Queen ($4,900), Dominick Barlow ($4,300), Moussa Diabate ($4,200), Steven Adams ($3,800), Mason Plumlee ($3,000)
