SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Kebba Njie has been a consistent contributor for the Notre Dame men’s basketball team the past three seasons, and now he’s declared for the NBA Draft.
Njie is entering the draft process as one of 106 early entrants. By doing this, he is still maintaining his college eligibility so he can still return to Notre Dame.
This is the same process that Markus Burton went through last year. The main purpose is not to stay in the draft but instead work out with NBA scouts and personnel and learn what he needs to work on to make the league sometime in the future.
Njie averaged 6.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last year as a junior.
