It represented Boston’s largest win this season.

Boston used a 42-14 scoring run during what was approximately a 10-minute stretch from midway through the second quarter to four minutes into the third. The hosts took a 30-point lead following that stretch, a product of the ball moving around, balanced scoring, as well as stops on defense.

Twelve players took the floor for Joe Mazzulla’s team with five scoring double figures.

Payton Pritchard lead all scores with 24 points (8-for-15) while Derrick White (20 points), Jaylen Brown (19), Luka Garza (14) and Neemias Queta (13) added double figures. Battling against 2023 Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr., the combination of Queta and Garza more than held their own. The two big men combined for 27 points on 14-for-16 from the floor with 15 rebounds and helped the C’s pull down 18 offensive boards as a team.
