The Memphis Grizzlies are in a tough stretch.

Memphis (4-9) has lost seven of its last eight games after getting off to a 3-2 start. Things won’t be much easier with a road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Nov. 15.

The Cavaliers (8-5) were the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference last season, and they’re off to a solid start. Cleveland has a top 10 offensive and defensive rating.

Memphis is ranked outside of the top 20 in offensive and defensive rating, but the hope is that reinforcements will return soon that will help that process.

Grizzlies center Zach Edey is questionable to play and could make his season debut after offseason ankle surgery. Ja Morant and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are both cleared to play after dealing with recent injuries.

Grizzlies rookie Cedric Coward was doubtful to play due to right foot soreness on the initial injury report on Nov. 14, but he was upgraded to questionable on Nov. 15. It would be the first missed game of his NBA career.

The Grizzlies have lost five consecutive games against the Cavaliers and have a 21-36 record in the all-time series.
