Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey will make his season debut on Nov. 15 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Edey missed the first 13 games of the season while recovering from an offseason ankle procedure. He will join the starting lineup and replace Jock Landale, who started the first 13 games at center.

Grizzlies rookie Cedric Coward will also play after being listed as questionable due to right foot soreness. Coward will also be making his first career start.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will come off the bench for the first time since the 2019-2020 season.

Edey averaged 9.2 and 8.3 rebounds in 66 games last season. Grizzlies coach Tuomas Iisalo has mentioned the team’s need for rebounding on multiple occasions, and Edey should help in that regard.
