A new study, which was conducted by thelines.com, took a look at NBA fanbases and investigated which team is causing fans to lose the most sleep!

The study, which was carried out in October of this year, featured over 2,000 NBA fans with representation from every team in the league.

How much sleep do Wizards fans lose after a loss on average?

The study found that 30% of Washington fans reported that after the Wizards lose, they would miss out on an average of 53 minutes of sleep that same night.

With respect to the averages across the league found in the study, Wizards fans were found to be right around the league average, both in terms of % of fans who are left losing sleep after a loss and the average amount of sleep lost that those fans experience after each loss.

On average, around 31% of each team’s fans reported having trouble sleeping after a disappointing game, and among those fans, they lost an average of 52 minutes of sleep as a result of their favorite NBA team’s performance.

However, some teams had some surprising stats that we think are too good not to share!
