November is Native American Heritage Month and the Portland Trail Blazers are celebrating all month long. Michelle Jalali, Senior Director of DEI for the Blazers, joined us to talk about the special Native American Heritage events happening at the upcoming game on Nov. 26th. She was joined by Jane Kim (@koreanmama) and her son Ed who are participating in the Trail Blazers Pop Up event.
Each Restaurant Pop-Up date corresponds with a celebration month connected to a distinct community and consist of the Blazers co-hosting with a local business of that community. Attendees at each Pop-Up will have a choice of 5 menu items, a free dish on the Trail Blazers tab, a live DJ, signature drinks, an NBA 2k Gaming set up, giveaways and so much more.
This month the Blazers’ Restaurant Pop-Up will be hosted at Native American owned-Javelinas Indigenous Dining on NE 42nd on 11/23 from 11am-1pm.
