For all of the Boston Celtics’ inconsistencies over the opening 15 games, Joe Mazzulla’s team has been showing signs of growth. They’re already figuring out their rebounding issues and have slowly begun developing a system on the offensive side of the ball. However, the pace that was discussed during the offseason has yet to emerge, with the team ranked among the slowest in the league.
Still, there is a growing hope that the current Celtics roster is starting to develop an identity and that in the coming weeks and months, they will continue to improve and become a cohesive unit. Of course, part of that will rely on Mazzulla settling on a rotation, which may take some time.
During a recent episode of NESN’s “Hold My Banner,” Adam Kaufman and Ountae Campbell discussed the Celtics’ recent growth and debated whether the team is finding its identity. After all, we’re learning what to expect from them on the defensive end, and their shot selection hasn’t drastically changed from previous years.
