Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves extended their winning streak to two games with a commanding 120-109 victory over the Washington Wizards at Target Center on Wednesday night.

Minnesota dominated from start to finish, building a lead as large as 27 points before cruising to the 11-point win.

Julius Randle led the way for Minnesota with an impressive performance, pouring in 32 points while pulling down 10 rebounds for his latest double-double. The veteran forward was efficient throughout, helping the Wolves establish control early and maintain it down the stretch.

Naz Reid provided a major spark off the bench, contributing 28 points in a standout performance that gave Minnesota a formidable one-two punch. Reid’s scoring helped the Timberwolves pull away and keep the Wizards at bay whenever Washington threatened to make a run.

The Timberwolves improved their season record to 10-5 with the victory.

Minnesota will look to make it three in a row when they travel to Phoenix to face the Suns on Friday night.
