The Detroit Pistons are the toughest team left on the Boston Celtics schedule for the rest of the 2025 Calendar year in terms of winning percentage to date. And the Celtics will square off with the Pistons for the second time this season playing much better than they did at the start of the 2025-26 NBA regular season. How did Detroit get so good so fast given they were projected to be a middle-of-the-pack ball club at the start of the season?

More importantly, is there a chance that Boston can keep their current win streak alive against the Pistons now that they are above .500 for the first time this season? And how are Detroit fans and analysts seeing the Celtics coming into this mid-season collision? To get answers to these questions before these two East teams lock horns this week, the hosts of “Havlicek Stole the Pod” linked up with “Motor City Hoops” and “Game Theory” host Bryce Simon.

They even get into some advice for those among us who might look better with a shaved head, not that anyone is specifically talking about Celtics star Jaylen Brown or anything, so be sure to tune in.
