CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cavaliers’ Evan Mobley spent his off day giving back to the Cleveland community.
Mobley hosted the first-ever, “Beyond the Game Gala” at the Metropolitan at the 9 in downtown Cleveland on Thursday, November 20.
Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction benefit the Mobley Family Foundation’s Holiday Shopping program, which helps foster children in the Cleveland area.
“We had foster kids growing up and also had a foreign exchange student as well,” Mobley said. “We always welcomed people into our family and try and make their situation better, that’s just how I grew up.”
