Liberty hiring Chris DeMarco, a longtime NBA assistant, as head coach

The Liberty landed their next head coach.

Chris DeMarco, a Golden State Warriors assistant since 2018, got the job after the Liberty conducted a nearly two-month search, according to ESPN.

DeMarco replaces Sandy Brondello, whom the Liberty fired in September after a first-round playoff exit.
