Sacramento Kings player Domantas Sabonis has suffered a serious injury: a partial tear of the meniscus in his left knee. 

Sabonis missed last night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, as well as the matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He is scheduled for a follow-up medical examination in one month.

Lithuanian national team player’ injury further complicates the situation for the Sacramento Kings. After the first 16 games, they have recorded 13 losses and only three wins. With this record, they sit in 14th place in the Western Conference, second to last.
