1. Proposal introduced to rename San Antonio International Airport after Gregg Popovich

Gregg Popovich, the NBA’s winningest coach, could add another win to his record if San Antonio names its airport after him.

On Thursday, District 8 Councilman Manny Pelaez officially requested that San Antonio consider renaming the city’s international airport after the former Spurs head coach.

2. FAA approves 25 SpaceX launches per year

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has given SpaceX permission to launch rockets in South Texas up to 25 times annually.

Prior to this, SpaceX had a yearly launch rate of 5.
