The San Antonio Spurs (11-4) visit the Phoenix Suns (10-6) tonight for a Sunday night matchup at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix.

San Antonio enters on a three-game winning streak — all without Victor Wembanyama. The schedule helped, with matchups against the struggling Kings and Grizzlies, but the Spurs also knocked off a strong Atlanta team, 135-126.

De’Aaron Fox has been the engine in Wembanyama’s absence, averaging 26.7 points on better than 50% shooting during this stretch. Harrison Barnes and Keldon Johnson have offered reliable secondary scoring, each hovering just under 20 points per game over the last three contests.

Phoenix is showing similar offensive depth behind Devin Booker, who leads the team at 27.1 PPG. Dillon Brooks (21.0 PPG) and Grayson Allen (18.5 PPG) have been strong complements, although Allen will remain out tonight with a quad issue.

Even so, the Suns edged the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-113 on Friday despite an off shooting night from Booker (16 points, 4-of-18). Brooks led with 22, and Collin Gillespie delivered 20 off the bench to secure the win.

Prediction

This has the feel of a one-possession finish. Both teams are deep, balanced, and playing confident basketball, but home court gives Phoenix the slightest edge.

Prediction: Suns 117, Spurs 114
