Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk registered his second career NBA milestone for the number of games he has started in the starting five. The achievement came after the showdown between the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers (106-108).
Mykhailiuk played his 16th game for Utah since the start of the season, and since then the team has won five games. The Ukrainian also set a personal career high – 28 points against Indiana.
The game against the Lakers ended in a loss for Utah – 106-108. Mykhailiuk started in the starting five and logged 28 minutes, scoring 12 points, recording two rebounds and five assists. He also hit two three-pointers (40% from beyond the arc).
Mykhailiuk was the third-highest scorer on his team. The Ukrainian was surpassed only by guard Keontae George (27 points) and center Lauri Markkanen (20).
In addition, he posted his second career-high for starts in the starting five. The game against the Lakers marked his 16th start of the season, and he has not come off the bench at all this season.
His best NBA start-count still remains the 2019/20 season – 27 starts in 56 games for the Detroit Pistons.

The Ukrainian guard also recently matched his personal career high for games with 20+ points in a season, surpassing this threshold twice – in games against Detroit and Indiana.
The Utah Jazz will next play Golden State on Tuesday night, November 25 (tip-off at 5:00 a.m. Kyiv time). In the Western Conference standings, Mykhailiuk’s team sits 11th with five wins in 16 games.
