Wolves Lose in PHX

The Timberwolves lost to the Suns on Friday and play the Kings tonight.

(Phoenix, AZ) — The Minnesota Timberwolves blew a late lead during a 114-113 loss to the Phoenix Suns at Mortgage Matchup Center on Friday. The Wolves led by eight with under a minute to play before getting outscored 9-0 the rest of the way. Anthony Edwards poured in 41 points in the losing effort, while Julius Randle finished with 20. Minnesota is in seventh place in the Western Conference at 10-and-6. The T-Wolves visit the Kings tonight. The Wolves have listed guard Terrence Shannon as questionable for tonight’s game. He has missed the past nine games with a foot injury and was recently cleared to practice.
