A couple of Eastern Conference squads that have had strong starts to the season share the court at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Monday, Nov. 24 when the Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Toronto Raptors.

This is the third and final regular season meeting between these teams and the Raptors are already 2-0 in Cleveland. The first game was on Halloween and was a 112-101 win for Toronto. The teams met again about two weeks later and it was a 126-113 victory for the Raptors. Now. 11 days since that meeting, Toronto looks to complete the season sweep and extend its current seven-game winning streak.
The Raptors are coming off a 119-109 triumph over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. This is the team’s third back-to-back and it lost the second leg in the other two. On Sunday, Toronto had eight players score in double figures led by Scottie Barnes who had 17, seven rebounds, four assists, four blocks and two steals. RJ Barrett had 16, as did Ja’Kobe Walter off the bench. Gradey Dick had a dozen in 20 minutes from off the pine and Jamal Shead had 11 and nine assists was posting a game-best +14 in his 24 minutes as a reserve. Immanuel Quickley, Brandon Ingram and Sandro Mamukelashvili combined for 39 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals.
The Cavaliers are also on night two of a back-to-back, defeating the LA Clippers 120-105 on Sunday. It was the squad’s second straight win and fourth in its last five games. Donovan Mitchell went for 37, making it the fourth time this month he scored at least that many points in a game and Cleveland is 4-0 in those contests. The six-time All-Star also had eight rebounds and six assists while running mate Darius Garland had 8 points and eight assists. Evan Mobley had 18, 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocks and De’Andre Hunter added 17. Tyrese Proctor chipped in 11, three boards and three helpers from the bench as every player on the Cavaliers scored at least 3 points.
