The Cleveland Cavaliers (12-6) visit the Toronto Raptors (12-5) tonight at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Toronto will be without RJ Barrett for the first time this season due to a knee injury. His absence breaks up the Raptors’ high-powered frontcourt trio — Barrett, Scottie Barnes, and Brandon Ingram — which has combined for roughly 60 points per game and helped fuel a top-five offense averaging 121.0 points.

The Raptors enter on a seven-game win streak built on sharper defense, strong interior play from Jakob Poeltl, and a favorable schedule that included the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards.

Cleveland has also been beating up on bad teams, winning four of its last five. But Toronto has had the Cavs’ number: a 112–101 win in October when Cleveland was shorthanded, and a 126–113 victory earlier this month with the Cavaliers closer to full strength.

Tonight, Cleveland will again be undermanned, missing both De’Andre Hunter and Darius Garland.

Prediction

With both teams on a back-to-back, pace and fatigue could swing things late. But Toronto’s home-court edge, recent form, and lineup continuity give the Raptors the slight advantage.

Prediction: Raptors 118, Cavaliers 115
