INDIANAPOLIS – Cade Cunningham had 24 points and 11 rebounds and the Detroit Pistons won their 13th straight game to tie the franchise record, holding off the Indiana Pacers 122-117 on Monday night.

The Pistons matched winning streaks by their 1989-90 and 2003-04 championship teams, two seasons after losing 28 in a row to break the NBA season record and tie the overall mark. Eastern Conference-leading Detroit is 15-2.

Down 18 early in the fourth quarter, the Pistons pulled as close as two points. Bennedict Mathurin missed a 3-pointer with a chance to tie it with 11 seconds left.

Caris LeVert added 19 points for Detroit, and Jalen Duren had 17 points and 12 rebounds. Jaden Ivey scored 12 points in his second game back after breaking his left fibula in January.

Pascal Siakam had 24 points for injury-ravaged Indiana. Jarace Walker added 21. The Pacers have lost 10 of 11 to fall to 2-15.

Indiana has been lost without Tyrese Haliburton, the star guard who tore his right Achilles in the Pacers’ Game 7 loss to Oklahoma City in the NBA Finals.

Detroit outscored Indiana 36-23 in the second quarter for a 71-55 lead, The Pistons shot 58.5% from the field in the half, hitting seven of 14 3-pointers.

The Pistons led 101-88 after three quarters.

RAPTORS 110, CAVALIERS 99: In Toronto, Brandon Ingram scored 15 of his season-high 37 points in the third quarter as Toronto extended its winning streak to eight games by beating Cleveland.

Scottie Barnes had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Raptors. Sandro Mamukelashvili scored 12 points and Immanuel Quickley had 11 for Toronto, which has won 12 of 13 – two of those coming against the Cavaliers.

Toronto swept the season series with Cleveland for the first time since the 2019-20 season.

Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell had 17 points but shot 6 of 20.

HEAT 106, MAVERICKS 102: In Miami, Tyler Herro has made his season debut for Miami and scored 24 points in a win over Dallas.

Herro had been sidelined while recovering from ankle surgery. Kel’el Ware added 20 points and 18 rebounds, and Bam Adebayo scored 17 points for Miami, which was held nearly 20 points below its season average but improved to 8-1 at home.

P.J. Washington scored 27 points for Dallas, which got 15 from Max Christie, 13 from Klay Thompson and 12 points apiece from Cooper Flagg and Brandon Williams.

HORNETS 143, BULLS 130: In New Orleans, Zion Williamson tied a season high with 29 points as New Orleans ended a nine-game skid and won for the first time under interim coach James Borrego by beating Chicago.

Saddiq Bey had 20 points and 14 rebounds, highlighted by a pair of late 3s that helped New Orleans maintain its lead in the closing minutes.

The Pelicans won for the first time since Nov. 5 at Dallas. That was 10 days before the firing of coach Willie Green.

Ayo Dosunmu scored 28 points and Coby White added 24 for Chicago.
