The Minnesota Timberwolves (10-6) visit the Sacramento Kings (4-13) tonight at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

Sacramento is coming off an unlikely 128–123 win over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, powered by a vintage Russell Westbrook performance: 21 points, 11 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Kings fans still get flashes of the old Russ once every week or so, but as the record shows, it hasn’t been enough to steady the season. Dennis Schroder added 21 points and 7 assists in one of his sharper outings.

It was another quiet night for Zach LaVine, who scored 15 points. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak — one that has lined up with LaVine’s dip in production. After averaging 29.2 points in October, he’s down to just 17.5 per game in November.

Minnesota enters after a narrow one-point loss to the Phoenix Suns. Anthony Edwards was spectacular with 41 points, while Julius Randle added 20, but the duo also combined for 10 turnovers.

Beyond them, the offense sputtered. Donte DiVincenzo managed just 9 points on 2-for-9 shooting. Against a red-hot Suns team, the margin of error was slim. But against Sacramento, the matchup is far more favorable.

Prediction

Minnesota’s depth and steady play should be enough to get it done on the road. Sacramento has been too up-and-down lately, and their slipping offense puts them at a real disadvantage tonight.

Prediction: Timberwolves 120, Kings 110
