  • November 26, 2025

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Mercury are taking their fresh look on the road.

After debuting a new logo and announcing updated uniforms, the team announced its first-ever specialty license plate on Wednesday.

Phoenix Mercury fans can now show their support for the team and the community by purchasing the specialty Mercury plate, now available through the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Division and benefiting the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation.

“The Mercury license plate is another way the X-Factor can showcase their Mercury pride while supporting what we’re all about – giving back to the community,” Phoenix Mercury President Vince Kozar said in a statement. “We’re excited to see the new Mercury branding out in the community knowing that each license plate is impacting causes we care so much about.”

Fans in Arizona can purchase the specialty Mercury plate for $25 annually, with $17 from each plate sold supporting the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation. The plate can be personalized for an additional $25 annual fee.

Mercury license plates are available online at azdot.gov/license-plates/phoenix-mercury or in person at any MVD or Authorized Third Party office.
