The Boston Celtics will look to build off their hard-fought win over the Orlando Magic when they welcome the first-place Detroit Pistons to TD Garden on Thanksgiving Eve.

Detroit enters the NBA Cup group stage showdown on a 13-game win streak — one away from the franchise record — which includes a 119-113 victory over Boston on Oct. 26. Celtics star Jaylen Brown’s 41 points weren’t enough to overcome a balanced Pistons effort that featured a 25-point performance for star Cade Cunningham.

The C’s will be short-handed for Wednesday’s matchup as center Neemias Queta was ruled out with a sprained left ankle. Queta sustained the injury during Sunday’s win over Orlando and is considered day-to-day, coach Joe Mazzulla announced.

Boston looks to improve to 2-2 in NBA Cup play, while Detroit (2-0) aims to stay unbeaten.
