The Boston Celtics currently sit 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 9-8 record over the first 17 games. They’re 5-4 at home and 4-4 on he road. However, slowly but surely, we’re starting to see the early signs of a new identity forming within the team, which includes a new-look shot profile, a help-heavy defense and high ball-pressure on pick-up points.

That new style has allowed the Celtics to remain competitive, even in games where they have a clear talent disadvantage. And, with each passing win, the team appears to be gaining a little extra confidence. The same can be said for the close-fought losses, especially against contending-level teams.
