The Portland Trail Blazers nearly pulled off a wire-to-wire win over the Milwaukee Bucks on their way to a convincing 115-103 road victory over the Bucks on Monday night.
Milwaukee squeaked ahead by a single point a couple of times shortly before halftime, but that was the only time that the Blazers would find themselves trailing on the scoreboard. Portland would open up a 33-point margin early in the fourth quarter, powered by an 18-0 scoring spurt.
Jerami Grant finished with a game-high 35 points, while Deni Avdija went 5-for-7 (71.4%) from behind the arc on his way to 22 points.
The Blazers saw 10 different players put the ball through the basket.
Portland (8-10) returns home to face San Antonio (11-5) in an NBA Cup pool-play game at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
