Thankful for: Offensive Schemes

I’m thankful for the Bulls’ commitment to a high-paced offense that emphasizes efficient shot selection since the start of last season. While their defensive struggles still give me nightmares, the foundation of a fast tempo and effective shot attempts provides a solid base for future growth. I’m also thankful for Ayo Dosunmu’s impressive improvement in scoring this season, as I didn’t expect to see this from Dosunmu, even though I consider myself a huge Dosunmu supporter.

Lastly, although I disagree with how the Bulls have handled them so far, I am thankful for Matas Buzelis and Noa Essengue. Both show promise as potential foundation pieces who could make an impact on both ends of the floor, but only time will tell if they can fully realize that potential.

I’m thankful for the resolve and FIGHT this new team is showing. They’re not perfect, they have had their ups & downs, but they still show up. And that’s the way life gets for all of us, outside of the court.

Things may not always go your way, but you can always persevere. It’s not about what happens, it’s about the response. And I’m thankful that this young group of Bulls has exemplified that on the court this year, and has made me find joy in watching our franchise again; Happy Thanksgiving to all. God Bless.

Thankful for: Nostalgia

Thankful for the memories of relevant Bulls past. The kids don’t know that the Bulls were the center of the hoops universe with Jordan. It was a privilege to watch them on national TV and WGN.

This old guy hopes they can recapture some of this for all you kids coming up. Have a great day!

When I think about what makes me thankful for the Chicago Bulls, three things immediately come to mind. First, I’m grateful for the legacy of Michael Jordan, whose greatness shaped not just the franchise but the entire sport of basketball. I’m also thankful that I get to experience this team while living in the great city of Chicago, a place where basketball pride runs deep and the Bulls are deeply ingrained in the culture.

Finally, I appreciate the long-standing traditions the Bulls bring—from the iconic intros to the loyal fanbase that passes its passion down through generations. Together, these reasons remind me why being a Bulls fan is something truly special to be thankful for.

I am grateful for the Chicago Bulls’ fanbase. Earlier this year, my family experienced an unfortunate incident, and during that time, I received an overwhelming amount of support from people I only interact with on social media. It’s something I’ll never forget.

Regardless of how the Bulls perform on the court, it’s undeniable that this fanbase is the greatest in the sports world.
