Essengue has made two brief appearances with Chicago, totaling six minutes in their last two outings this week. Bulls coach Billy Donovan has used a 9-10 man rotation for much of the early going, leaving Essengue and others out of the fold.

The French teenager played his third game with Windy City on Wednesday, averaging 25.7 points, eight rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals on 50% shooting from the field. He has scored at least 20 points in each appearance, including a 28-point debut on Nov. 11.

Donovan said previously that Essengue would likely spend extensive time with Windy City to log minutes against high-level competition. The team has set forth a detailed development plan for Essengue and is looking to maximize his rookie campaign on the court.
