Thunder vs Timberwolves predictions, picks
Justin Martinez: OKC 118, Minnesota 108
This all comes down to the availability of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who’s listed as questionable due to an illness. The reigning MVP is playing elite basketball once again this season, and he’s even more difficult to guard now that he’s shooting 49.2% from deep through 12 games this month. Assuming he suits up, OKC should beat an unproven Minnesota team that’s 0-6 this season against winning teams. It has the perimeter defenders to throw at Anthony Edwards, the size to counter Julius Randle’s bully-ball play style and plenty of offensive firepower despite being short-handed.
