Williams has been removed from the injury report after recovering from offseason wrist surgery to repair torn ligaments he played through during the Thunder’s 2025 NBA championship run. He also underwent a follow-up procedure in late October to remove a screw from the wrist.
His return comes as Oklahoma City continues a historic start at 18-1, owning the best point differential through 19 games in NBA history at +16.5. Williams last season averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists, earning his first All-Star nod along with Third-Team All-NBA and Second-Team All-Defense honors.
The Thunder are expected to remain cautious easing Williams back into action, but his return adds another elite two-way weapon to a team that has already won 10 straight and looks every bit like a title contender once again.
