In Wednesday’s victory over the Trail Blazers, De’Aaron Fox led the way for the Spurs as he recorded 37 points, six rebounds and eight assists while Devin Vassell added 23 points and six rebounds of his own.

Now San Antonio will try to grab their 13th victory of the season on Friday night in a tough road matchup against the Nuggets.

On the other side, Denver enters Friday’s contest with a 13-4 record after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies on the road on Monday night.

Jamal Murray led the way for the Nuggets in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 29 points and eight assists while Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up another victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Spurs, they have three players listed on their injury report, including both Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle.

San Antonio has ruled out Wembanyama as he continues recover from a left calf strain that has kept him out of their last five games.

With Wembanyama still sidelined, Luke Kornet will likely draw another start while Kelly Olynyk could continue to have an increased role off the bench.

The Spurs have also ruled out Jordan McLaughlin due to a left hamstring strain while Castle remains sidelined due to a left hip flexor strain.

With Castle sidelined, Dylan Harper and Julian Champagnie could continue to have larger roles for the Spurs.
