The impact LeBron James has had over the past 20 years has clearly had an impact on the stars of tomorrow.

The 2025 NBA Draft is just over a month away, and the top order is now set after the Lottery remarkably saw the Dallas Mavericks land the number one pick.

And while Cooper Flagg is destined to go number one, the rest of the draft hopefuls’ destinations are a little less certain.

One of the hopefuls is Rasheer Fleming, who is projected to be a late first round selection. ESPN has him going 27th to the Brooklyn Nets.

Following his latest playoff exit, LeBron James was warned his quest to be crowned the ‘Greatest Player of All Time’ was over.

Former Chicago Bulls player and Michael Jordan teammate Stacey King warned it was too late for LeBron James to catch up with the 1990s legend.

Draft prospect Rasheer Fleming has a very different view, telling Hoops Hype that he regards LeBron James as the greatest.

Fleming, 20, responded: “Bron. ‘Cause he can do everything. He can do everything. Like as a player, if I was like, if I want any player on my team, I’m choosing LeBron because he can do everything from one through five.

“He can guard the opposition. He can handle the ball. He can shoot the ball. And he has, I feel like, one of the greatest IQs ever to play the game.”

LeBron James’ versatility was on full show in the final months of the season and through the playoffs, where he had to adapt into a more defensive role to counter the team’s lack of size.

Fleming admires Michael Jordan but has LeBron James number one

Fleming, a forward for the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, does not dismiss the impact Michael Jordan has had on the NBA.

He explained: “I feel like MJ and his influence, like you can’t beat that. He has the influence and at his time, it was nobody, like if you think of basketball, you’re thinking of Jordan.

“So I think MJ got that, but like if we talking about like greatest player of all time I’m saying Bron.”

Fast forward to October, Fleming could be having his ‘welcome to the NBA moment’ sharing the court with the Lakers superstar. Now he just needs to find out where he will land.
