A video circulating online showed the Bulls guard approaching a courtside heckler, who immediately stood up and offered him a fist bump.Â
But the situation escalated later in the game when Giddey became visibly frustrated with another fan.
With just over a minute left in the fourth quarter and the Bulls trailing, Giddey was seen exchanging heated words with a spectator seated near the court.Â
According to reporting from Hoops Alerts, the fan allegedly directed a derogatory insult at the Australian player.
The fan was ultimately escorted from the arena, while Giddey had a brief verbal exchange with the heckler as officials held him back.
