Playoff events planned as Thunder take on Timberwolves in Western Conference finals

Excitement is growing around the Oklahoma City Thunder as the team continues advancing in the NBA playoffs. The Thunder will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. The team is stepping up to make sure there are plenty of events and celebrations for fans to participate in. “Thunder UP in the Park, of course. It will be open at 4 p.m. for Tuesday’s game. At the park, you’ll see new elements like a fan tunnel. We’ll have more photo opportunities. The Thunder is adding 10 extra locations for fans to watch the games across the Oklahoma City metro. Those locations will be added to the NBA’s website. The Thunder Shop will also be open seven days a week. “You’ll also see some new additions to Bricktown and in a lot of the downtown districts and throughout the metro area,” Maxwell said. Fassler Hall has also transformed into Thunder Hall during the playoffs. “It’s a privilege to be here. You look around, and there’s 28 other teams that would like to be in this position, so we’re all in as well.
