At 24 years old, Anthony Edwards has become the Minnesota Timberwolves’ all-time leader in games with 30 points or more, surpassing the mark previously held by Karl-Anthony Towns.

The shooting guard reached the milestone in last night’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, scoring 32 points to record his 102nd career game hitting that threshold.

Edwards started slowly but grew into the game against a Spurs team that unraveled in the final quarter.

In addition to his 32 points (4-of-6 from three), he dished out six assists.

He scored 16 points in each half, though he also committed six turnovers—five of them in the first quarter—and picked up his third technical foul in four games.

Game Breakdown and Other Standouts

The contest remained close until the fourth quarter. San Antonio even held a 10-point lead early in the second, but Minnesota’s dominant 36–19 run in the final period proved decisive.

For Minnesota, alongside Edwards’ performance, Julius Randle contributed 22 points, 12 assists, and six rebounds.

Donte DiVincenzo added 18 points, while Naz Reid chipped in 15, all playing key roles in the team’s offensive surge.

On the opposing side, the Spurs—still without Victor Wembanyama—were led by De’Aaron Fox, who delivered an efficient 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting.

Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson each scored 22 for San Antonio, which finished its four-game road trip with a 2–2 record.

The Timberwolves, having won both games of their home stand, now sit sixth in the Eastern Conference at 12–8. Despite the loss, San Antonio remains one spot ahead in the same conference with a 13–6 record.
