Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker, after logging 11 points in 10 minutes through the first quarter of a 125-108 win against the Los Angeles Lakers, was ruled out on Monday with a right groin injury, according to the team.

Booker checked out of the game with 2:05 left in the quarter and was not seen back on the bench.

Though L.A.’s Luka Doncic cooked for 20 points, Phoenix managed to keep it tied at 31-31 at quarter’s end.

Dillon Brooks hit eight straight shots and had 23 points on 11 of 16 shooting while Collin Gillespie and Royce O’Neale provided a boost from 3 to give the Suns a 66-52 halftime advantage.

A pair of striking statistics at the final buzzer were steals and fast-break points, with the Suns possessing a 16-1 and 28-2 edge in those, respectively.
