Will Richard chipped in 18 and six rebounds as the bench duo of Brandin Podziemski and Quinten Post combined for 26 points and nine rebounds.

The Pelicans are 3-16 and also lost on Wednesday, 133-128 in overtime against the Memphis Grizzlies. Jose Alvarado had a team-high 24 with two steals and five rebounds as a substitute while fellow bench players Jordan Hawkins and Micah Peavy added 25 together. All of the starters were in double figures with Saddiq Bey leading the way with 18 points and 10 rebounds and three assists while Zion Williamson added 17. Trey Murphey III had 12 and six assists as Derik Queen went for 10 with nine helpers and Jeremiah Fears had 10 as well.
