BREAK IT DOWN:
(stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)
Anthony Edwards 40+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-117): Anthony Edwards has cleared 40+ PRA in two of his last five games on points alone, and his current scoring stretch makes this line very playable. He’s averaging 37.2 PPG over his last five outings and continues to operate as a steady playmaker with 4.8 APG in that span. While rebounding isn’t the flashiest part of Edwards’ profile, he still contributes on the glass at a reliable rate, posting 4.5 RPG this season. From a skill standpoint, Edwards’ combination of downhill strength, shot creation, and improved perimeter touch makes him one of the toughest individual covers in the league. He’s also been locked in from deep, hitting at least four three-pointers in each of Minnesota’s last five games. Tonight’s matchup also works in his favor. The Timberwolves are looking to snap a three-game skid and draw a Pelicans team with only three wins and a bottom-tier defensive rating (120, 28th). New Orleans is giving up 122.1 points per game, which puts them 26th in the league and does little to slow a scorer playing at Edward’s current level. With volume, efficiency, and matchup all leaning his way, 40+ PRA is a very attainable mark for the young star.
Jaylen Brown 40+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (+105): With Jayson Tatum (Achilles) sidelined, Jaylen Brown has taken over as the Celtics’ primary scoring option. He’s averaging 28.4 PPG and 6.2 RPG on the season, and his recent stretch has been even stronger with 30.8 PPG, 8.0 RPG and 7.0 APG over his last five games. DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub backs up the consistency: Brown has grabbed six or more rebounds in each of his last 10 home games against Atlantic Division opponents, and he’s recorded at least four assists in six straight contests. He’s also stepped up at TD Garden when facing tougher competition, scoring 30+ points in each of Boston’s last three home games against teams with winning records. At +105, there’s strong value in backing Brown to hit 40+ PRA tonight against the rival Knicks.
Aaron Wiggins 3+ Three Pointers Made (+179): Aaron Wiggins returned Sunday after an 11-game absence due to a left adductor strain, finishing with five points in 20 minutes. The scoring wasn’t there, but it’s worth remembering how hot he was before the injury. In his final game prior to the setback, Wiggins drilled seven threes on 10 attempts and finished with 27 points. On the season, the 26-year-old is shooting an efficient 41.3% from beyond the arc. His clean mechanics, quick release and comfort as a catch-and-shoot threat make him a legitimate perimeter weapon when he finds rhythm. The matchup is challenging. Golden State is holding opponents to 34.3% from deep, the seventh-best mark in the league. Still, Wiggins has cleared this line in four of his 10 games this season, which gives this prop some volatility but also clear upside. At +179, it isn’t a guarantee, but it’s understandable why bettors are taking a shot on his three-point volume rebounding in a hurry.
